Toni McLennan

What I have to offer...

It is not my education or work experiences that will make me an effective member of parliament, rather it is as a mother, past student and active member of the community, that I know first-hand the challenges we all face in juggling the demands made on our time and on our hip-pockets.

Like many other Australians, I have had to make sacrifices on a daily basis to do the best by my family and friends. It is this insight and personal experience and sheer belief in my community which will enable me to best serve the Australian community. 

I want to assist people who struggle with life’s challenges and inequalities, and I want to help people without the resources to get governments at all levels to adequately address their needs.

As a politician I also want to remind us what is important in life – and it is not just about the accumulation of wealth – it is about family, friends and community.
